Volunteering at Tasikoki is inspirational!
Harm Dekkers has been a Tasikoki Volunteer during the autumn of 2017. This visit inspired him to set up a “Tasikoki Garden”. This project has won an award worth €1000,- en this price will be transfered to Masarang Indonesia.
We thank Harm for his great initiative and hope his example will inspire many others!
The opening of the Tasikoki Garden
Yesterday during World Environment Day we took the opportunity to officially open the Tasikoki garden. Together with our Business Unit Director I cut a ribbon and revealed the information board next to the garden.
The garden supports bees and butterflies which are threatened, like the animals at Tasikoki. That’s the connection to draw attention to this. The board is the first thing that every visitor and employee will see when entering our campus.
For the next weeks pictures and a short explanation will be on rotation on all TV screens and screensavers in the Benelux. We are also trying to get an article on our intranet, which has worldwide exposure. Hopefully this will inspire some people to donate or even volunteer.
